Armenians say NO to continuation of Biden's policy under the Trump’s rule

On March 22, 2025, a protest rally was organized by a group of Armenian citizens near the U.S. Embassy in Armenia, during which participants raised a number of issues indicating unacceptability of policies and approaches implemented by the U.S. Ambassador in Armenia. Among these tacit support for police abuses, hushing up numerous human rights violations, latent backing the suspicious medico-biological activities and number of other issues that are unacceptable not only for Armenians, but also for the U.S. President Trump and his Administration. While being confident that the policy implemented in Armenia under the previous U.S. Administration cannot and should continue under the current U.S. Administration, protesters announced a start of the process of collecting signatures to declare the U. S. Ambassador Kristina Kvien a persona non grata in Armenia and in this context appealed to the U.S. Administration to conduct a thorough review of her attitude and activities on the position of the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia.
 
Participants also welcomed a firm position of the U.S. President and the U.S. Administration with regard to suspicious medico-biological activities in different parts of the world and re-affirmed that neither Armenia, nor any other country in the world cannot and should not be a place for testing biological weapons. In this context, protesters called Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Head of the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency to freeze the implementation the U.S. Biological Threat Reduction Program ongoing on the territory of Armenia and to initiate an investigation of suspicious medico-biological activities undertaken under that Program since 2010 to provide convincing evidence that these activities do not represent threat to human, animal and environmental health in Armenia. At the end of the rally, participants expressed hope that their appeal and call will not be ignored by the U.S. President and that the U.S. Administration will take all the necessary steps to rectify issues of their concern.
